mini kuš! #101 'Survival Mode' by Dileydi Florez, July 2021

Iceland was settled by Norwegian Vikings in the 9th Century AD and it is said to have been named by Hrafna-Flóki Vilgerðarson. But before Flóki, the country was known as Snæland (Snowland) and Garðarshólmur (Garðar's Isle). It is said that Iceland was untouched by humans when Garðar Svavarsson arrived. After humans started making use of the land, the rich and plentiful ecosystem of Iceland disappeared. It is now up to the present generations to achieve the revitalization of this lost paradise.

  75. Fearless Colors / Samplerman

    Fearless Colors by Samplerman
    kuš! mono #5, November 2017

    Second print: April 2024

Samplerman is one of the incarnations of the cartoonist Yvang, a collagist experimenting ad infinitum. His surrealist non-stories have been featured in many publications like š!, Off Life, Smoke Signal, Ink Brick, Lagon, The Village Voice, and Scratches. The featured pages were made between 2012 and 2015 and are for the first time collected as a book.

"Reading Fearless Colors is like taking a weird acid trip through comics as images fall apart and melt down in front of you, recombining with different images to form brand new comic pages. Samplerman’s collages take existing art and make new art out of the old, and creates comic pages that you just want to get lost in, exploring the smallest details even while wanting to pull out and see how those details collapse into a complete comic experience." - Scott Cederlund, Panel Patter

    Format: A5 (14.8 cm x 21 cm / 6" x 8"), 100 pages, full-color, perfect bound. Printed in Latvia on FSC certified paper.

None of these questions will be answered in this minicomic.
